Competitive teams
How RRSMG Team Selection Works

To be considered for a spot on one of our teams, players must first participate in our IDP (Individual Development Program) sessions.

All team players train through the IDP program, and all assessments take place during IDP sessions, where coaches can observe players consistently in a real training environment.
To try out for an RRSMG team:
1️⃣ Fill out the RRSMG registration form (available on our website).
2️⃣ Attend one of our IDP sessions.
3️⃣ Inform one of the coaches that you are interested in being assessed for a team.
Team placement is based on:
✔ Skill level
✔ Coach evaluation during IDP sessions
✔ Roster availability (teams have limited spots)
If a player is selected for a team
✔ They will be added to the official WhatsApp group chat for that specific team
✔ Parents will receive team pricing information
✔ Parents will also receive details regarding the team uniform and kit requirements
✔ Coaches will provide the next steps for schedule, expectations, and integration into the team environment.
This ensures clear communication and a smooth transition into the RRSMG team structure.
RRSMG Competitive Teams & League Placement
We have competitive teams playing in various sanctioned and unsanctioned leagues lead by our elite coaches. We aim to place our teams in the best suited leagues for development purposes.
